Here are two photographs that were taken recently on a summer evening walk with Sparky going up to the top of Shipton Down near Shipton-under-Wychwood – both are of Cow Parsley that has gone to seed with the setting sun beyond – glorious evenings indeed!
The second photograph was taken with a much smaller aperture to accentuate the light coming from the sun giving a ‘starburst’ effect – this is due to the elements of the aperture creating sharper angles within the lens – this effect can be used with any bright light source including street lights and stars (OK – I know the Sun is also a star, but you know what I mean!)
