Walks with my camera

So – it’s my birthday today – just finished work and heading home – hoping for a home-made birthday cake and a beer (though maybe not together!) 😉

Anyway, as a special treat, here are two photos from recent walks with my camera and Sparky (though he doesn’t feature in either of these this time)

This photograph was taken on the Darcy-Dalton Way between Upper Rissington and Fifield in Oxfordshire – this is the first time I have walked on this part of the path – a nice farm track at this point, though this was a hot day so reaching the shade of a small wood (about 1 mile further along the track) was very welcome!

The second photograph is of some giant daisies – these were found on a plot on the allotments in Shipton-under-Wychwood – while many of the flowers have perished now (not least due to the temperatures of the last few weeks), these flowers are still going strong – taken from a low level to add some impact – you can see several insects hovering around the heads too, eager to feed!

Both photographs were catalogued in Lightroom with lens corrections applied – post processing was done using Luminar.
