This photograph of frosted teasles was taken on a walk near home on a very cold morning between Christmas and New Year 2014 – while it was cold (well below 0ºC) the sun was out and made it feel warmer – the frost was, by this time starting to melt fast in the sun – the walk did produce several nice photographs, however.
Not a great deal done to this photograph other than a gradient to pull back the sky, lifting the shadows on the teasle in the foreground, a small amount of sharpening and crop.
