Please look after this bear…

“Mr and Mrs Brown first met Paddington on a railway platform. In fact, that was how he came to have such an unusual name for a bear, for Paddington was the name of the station.”

– quote from “Please Look After This Bear” in “A Bear Called Paddington”

This photograph was taken a week or so back at Paddington Station,London. To celebrate the launch of the Paddington Bear film, fifty bears have been placed around London – the bears have been decorated by many different people, including stars of the film. Full details of all of the Paddingtons including their locations can be found on visitlondon.com/paddington/.

I like this shot particularly for the people rushing for a train in the background – also impressed that it came out so well given a 1/15s exposure – credit to the OIS lens!

Not too much editing done except lifting the shadows and two gradients (one from the top and one from the bottom to reduce the exposure slightly in each case)
