This is a delightful way for Ilfracombe, Devon to remember the WW1 soldiers from the town. We came across these yesterday while wandering around the town. We were having a quick tour of various places along the coast of North Devon after dropping off my son at school in the area.
These poppies have been made from kits that can be bought for a very reasonable cost from a local cafe – apparently, the poppies are being placed around the town, though I only saw them here on the seafront below Capstone Hill. More details can be found here: www.northdevonjournal.co.uk
