Blackberry picking

DSC_2772

Spent yesterday afternoon on a walk with my daughter, Freya, near home armed with boxes for blackberries, listening to music (you can’t really avoid it!) from the Big Feastival which is held a short distance away near Kingham.

Picked enough for one full box of blackberries…and got lots of injuries (shorts weren’t such a great idea – scratches from brambles and stings from nettles).  Once home, picked four apples from one of our trees and cooked a blackberry and apple crumble – lovely!  Looking forward to some more tonight!  Happy days!

Not much to say about the photograph – processed in Lightroom 5.6 – cropped, sharpened and darkened some of the background a little.
