…though only (unfortunately) for one weekend.
Just had a great weekend staying in the Kasteel Westhove in Zeeland, Netherlands – it is a hostel that has room for more than 100 people – we met with most of the family – great to catch up with those I have not seen for far too long…and to meet other members of the family I have not before too!
Pleasant walks in the woods to the beach – coffee in the beach cafe – good weather (though breezy at times) and excellent company!
I guess the only down side was that it was over so quickly – but we wont forget the kites, frisbees, the Loom Twister bands and the Netherlands beating Spain 5-1 (the less said about the England-Italy match the better).
This photograph was taken early on the Saturday morning – a gloriously sunny and still day at that time (it clouded over a bit later), but a good start to the weekend.
Post processing: The usual ‘start’ preset to bring out the shadows and lower the highlights – graduated filter to darken the sky a little – a little sharpening and a slight vignette.
