Looking back at Canary Wharf

This picture was taken on another lunchtime excursion – this time to North Greenwich (one stop on the Jubilee line) and, with the Millenium Dome behind me, looking back at Canary Wharf (and yet another Thames Clipper…they get everywhere!)…I love this shot, but it could be better – because it was taken resting on the barrier/wall (I forget which now), there is some very slight movement…so it is not as sharp as it could be – using a tripod would help, and also allow a much longer exposure time (though then the Thames Clipper would be lost).

A night shot from here with the lights in Canary Wharf should be quite spectacular – as we are facing West, so the sunset could be good too!

Post processing included a graduate filter for the sky, slight darkening on the river – converted to black and white in Silver Efex Pro.
